Is She Hot... or a Hot Mess? Beware of The Boundary Busters!

Episode Summary

"But John, she's just so hot." I hear that phrase almost every week on coaching calls. And within ten minutes of hearing it, I've usually heard a litany of red flag explosions that would make any sane person realize she isn't hot — she's a red-hot mess. So in this video I'm giving you my list of boundary busters: automatic disqualifiers you don't have to think about. You hear it, you see it, you're out. No debate, no second chances, no "but maybe she'll change." These aren't rules for judging women. They're rules for protecting yourself — because every one of these behaviors becomes central to the relationship if you don't end it at the start. Ignore them while you're dating and you'll be living with them when you're married. Some of these come from the men I coach. Some come from my own dating history, which is why a few of them still sting. What's covered: Red Flags → Why being the "monkey branch" makes you the enabler, not the winner → The sweatshirt red flag most men never notice → What sex on the first date is actually telling you (hint: it's not about you) → Empty compliments and why "you're the best I've ever had" is a control tactic → The drinking patterns that predict who she is sober → Why "all my exes were narcissists" means you're the next villain → Single moms, multiple baby daddies, and court-removed children → Rebound women and why "in transition" means trouble → The one thing I found on the back of a toilet that ended a relationship 00:00 — "But John, she's so hot" 01:29 — Boundary Buster #1: The Monkey Branch 02:55 — #2: Wearing another man's clothes 04:30 — #3: Sex too early 05:55 — #4: The empty compliment trap 07:50 — #5: Disrespect disguised as banter 10:05 — #6: The drinking patterns 12:35 — #7: The THC house 13:45 — #8: "All my exes were narcissists" 14:20 — #9: The artistic crime scene 15:50 — #10: OnlyFans and sex work 17:50 — #11: Multiple kids, multiple fathers 18:40 — #12: Court-removed children 19:20 — #13: Women in transition 20:40 — #14: She's dating other men 21:40 — Final thoughts + what I missed Did I miss one?
